Released Dog Program
Canine Partners For Life makes every attempt to select
or breed dogs that will be successful in our service, home companion,
or residential companion dog programs. There are some dogs however,
who are not suitable. These dogs may have a physical or behavioral issue
that indicates we should release them from the program. Interested
individuals or families who would like to adopt one of CPL's released
dogs should complete a released
dog application.
The Volunteer/Companion Coordinator will contact
applicants when a suitable dog becomes available and will be invite
them to visit with their new potential pet. The reason for each dog's
release is always shared with the new potential owners. Due to the
success of our selection and breeding process, the number of released
dogs is relatively small.
