PAJAMA BRUNCH with the PUPS! Sunday, June 1st (rain date June 8)

Bring your dog and wear your pajamas! Thanks to the good folks from Buckley's Tavern, at 5812 Kennett Pike, Centerville, DE 19807, CPL is having a fine fundraiser that should appeal to all! We are selling tickets now for a delicious brunch, including a champagne mimosa for only $20.00! ALL ticket sale proceeds go directly to CPL and you get to enjoy the meal! It will be a fun filled day with prizes awarded to the guests with the silliest PJ’s and more! Personal dogs that are well mannered are welcome to this event, but only one dog per person and they must be on a standard leash – no flexis! Come join the fun from 11:00-2:00. Orpheus Club of Philadelphia - Benefit Concert

The Orpheus Club of Philadelphia will perform a benefit concert for Canine Partners For Life. Saturday October 25, 2008 at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington will host this concert from 8:00-10:00pm. Enjoy the rare opportunity to hear the musical styling of this premier male singing group who are celebrating their 136th season.. The group performs in white tie and tails and hopes to raise awareness of service dogs for people with physical disabilities while helping to support the CPL program which is funded entirely by donations. Premium seats are $125 per ticket and includes early admission at 6:00pm for cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres prior to event. General admission is $60 and all attendees will toast the organization at intermission with complimentary champagne. 100% of the sales from this concert will go directly to the CPL program for raising, training and placing service dogs with people who desire to live independently. Celebrating their 136th season this year the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia performs three formal concerts a year. Their great versatility is sure to provide an entertaining show. The concerts are usually performed exclusively for the Club’s Associate members, so CPL is very lucky to be the benefactor of this concert. Stepping Out with PawsAmerica Coast to Coast!

PawsAmerica started 17 years ago as a local pledge-sponsored walk fundraising event near the CPL campus. Over the years PawsAmerica has grown into CPL's premier spring event. Many sites have pet themed events ongoing too!

Recipients in many states are running PawsAmericas in their hometowns to raise money and awareness of CPL and what Service Dogs can do. We are hoping for sunny weather and great participation at each of the sites.
